We had a wonderful stay at Hwaseong Guesthouse. the staff was incredibly friendly and offered us treats and food throughout our stay. the cleanliness of the guesthouse was impeccable, and its location was perfect for exploring all the nearby tourist spots. Despite it being labeled as a dormitory, we were pleasantly surprised to find a cozy double-sized bed in our room, which was extremely comfortable. This was definitely the best dormitory experience we've ever had. a homely and welcoming place to stay with excellent amenities and a helpful host. Cons: Everything was great! 👍.

Title: Great Family Stay!
My children wanted a larger play area or playground within the guesthouse.

The highlight was exploring the Hwaseong Fortress, a historic gem right at our doorstep. The kids were amazed by the towering walls and fascinating architecture, while my wife and I truly appreciated the rich history and beautiful views. It was a memorable experience for all of us.
My wife says that it would have been great to have a small playground or outdoor space for the kids to play in.

Right in the heart of Suwon, we hit up Fried Chicken Street and partied at some dope clubs nearby. The crew loved having a TV in the room to chill after a wild night. Plus, the towels they gave us were clutch for cleaning up.
Yo, they gotta step up the game with the common area. Like, where's the music?

The rooms at Hwaseong Guesthouse were really cosy and comfortable. I loved the simple wooden flooring and the air conditioning, which made it a perfect retreat after a long day exploring Suwon. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower facilities were great. I felt really relaxed and at home in my room.
The only thing I didn't particularly like was that the rooms were simply furnished. But hey, that's just my personal preference, and I'm sure some people would still enjoy the simplicity!
